Andrew Blum's book highlights the importance of the real, physical Internet by taking the reader on several adventures to see these vast data warehouses, where multiple routers and modems and wires meet. Where a series of Tubes connects to another series somewhere else either underwater or on land. He is shining a light on the fact that most people do not know what the Internet actually is and in this book he shows what it actually looks like to the physical world and eye.
